1.3.5 definately works. I've been using it for three months without any incident. 1.4.9 is supposed to definately work, too.
The specific log lines you want are:
wlan0: NIC: id=0x8013 v1.0.0 wlan0: PRI: id=0x15 v1.0.7 wlan0: STA: id=0x1f v1.3.5
The last line indicates your station firmware, which in my case is 1.3.5.
