I've successfully installed HostAP 01-03-2002 on a Dell Inspiron 7k running Mandrake 8.1. I have the following problem when I use either a DWL650 or NetGear MA401.

Hosts can associate without a problem. /proc/net/prism2/wlan0 shows the MAC's of the associated STA's. However the hosts can't ping each other. They're on the same subnet (192.168.1.0/24). "ifconfig wlan0" shows the receive counters iterating, but no packets are ever transmitted. The stats in /proc reflect this problem.

Has anyone encountered this problem? Any suggestions on what to look at to try and fix this?
