Hello all,

I am trying to setup a Linux AP box without succes. Here is what i have donde :

In my lab enviroment i have 2 laptops, one runinng Debian Woody kernel 2.4.14 (this is the AP) and the second running Win98. Both have the Copaq WL110 wireless adapters which have the prism2 chipset. When I start pcmcia services i got this errors in syslog :

I got some errors as you can see and the Win98 box "see" the Linux AP as a peer-to-peer client (Ad-hoc mode) and there's no commucation between both. If i put the linux box in ad-hoc mode everything works.

Do I need to update firmware of the Linux wavelan card? How can I fix this?

Thanks in advance for the help,
