MAC-based selectivity

Hullo!

I have another question - somewhat related to the one about dynamic wep ...

Can the hostap driver be modified (or, well, does it already have this feature) to only allow certain MAC addresses' cards to connect to the access point?

I don't know how effective or practical this could be - but in theory, for few computers with same cards all the time (or with a REALLY patient netadmin, who can update his database continually) there is little chance for an attacker to enter such a wireless network (I heard/read somewhere ... I might be wrong here, though ... that it's pretty easy to emulate a MAC address - yet if one doesn't have a "lead", no chance)

plus combined with the 128 WEP ...

Thanks!
Cosmin
