high-power DWL-650H?

Hey, I have a DWL-500 working great as a base station (thanks guys!).

If I throw in a DWL-650H instead, will it run in high-power mode?

Or does the software have to send special signals to the card to put it in high power mode? The docs say that it 'varys its power output', so I'm not sure...
