The tool I speak is actually just another function of the (newer?) client package. There's several statisticaly significant "drop down" menu items to display, per detected AP, recieved signal strength in dBm, noise floor, etc. What's the most handy though is the link test; it has several graphing options that are actually not half bad as a visual indictor of what's going on.

As an all-out analysys tool, it's not appropriate, but, with the ability to record an entire 'run' of data to a near undetermined length (time, rater), it's usefullness as a site survey tool is fair.

For me, site survey would normally include some sort of attention to noise floor accross all channels, which the lucent client package doesn't do. There may be something else yet that I've not discovered.
