Hi everyone,
My first post, but I've noticed the 5-16 and 5-19 releases crash my Linux server during wireless activity. Some data gets transferred, but then the server locks up solid (no response to caps lock) after a couple of mins.
Machine:
Celeron 633
Intel D815EEA2 mb
D-Link DWL-520 PCI card
RedHat 7.1
Standard releases except that I have to make some small patches to hostap_pci.c for 7.1 support
May 19 21:18:24 lambenstein kernel: hostap_pci: hostap_pci.c 0.0.0 2002-05-19 (SSH Communications Security Corp, Jouni Malinen) May 19 21:18:24 lambenstein kernel: hostap_pci: (c) SSH Communications Security Corp <jkm_at_ssh.com> May 19 21:18:24 lambenstein kernel: PCI: Found IRQ 11 for device 01:0a.0 May 19 21:18:25 lambenstein kernel: hostap_pci: Registered netdevice wlan0 May 19 21:18:25 lambenstein kernel: wlan0: NIC: id=0x8013 v1.0.0 May 19 21:18:25 lambenstein kernel: wlan0: PRI: id=0x15 v1.0.5 May 19 21:18:25 lambenstein kernel: wlan0: STA: id=0x1f v1.3.4 May 19 21:18:25 lambenstein kernel: wlan0: Intersil Prism2.5 PCI: mem=0xf6aff000, irq=11
No log file entries when the machine locks up. The older 05-02 release doesn't do this!
Does anyone else have these symptoms?
Thanks
