About very great discrepancy of performance between AP and Ad-Hoc modes with Prism2 cards

Hello,

After configuring my LG PCI Card perfectly with hostap driver, I noticed a performance of 600Kbps between my laptop with a orinoco silver card. But, when I change to Ad-Hoc mode, even with linux-wlan driver, the maximum throughput is 150Kbps.

Any ideas?
