There was a post on here a few days back that suggested using a
vanilla-kernel (as opposed to the redhat / Mandrake mod'd ones). Given I had
a bit of free time yesterday I tried that with a 2.4.18 downloaded from
kernel.org, and so far I've been able to copy several large files at some
50+Kbytes a sec across the wlan and it hasn't crashed anything yet.
In both cases SMP was enabled, as was IO-APIC.
Colin - just out of interest, is your kernel a mod'd one? Or are you seeing the same behaviour with a clean kernel?
