How about giving some more details? What do you mean with "stranger"? Which wlan card are you using and which firmware version? Does /proc/net/prism2/wlan0/rids have the correct ssid in FC04 (CNFOWNSSID)? I'm also cross compiling the driver for PowerPC and that kind of environment should work fine..
