Is it possible to add a new MAC frame to HostAP driver for experiment?

I want to add a new MAC frame to the HostAP . I am using a D-Link DWL-650 PCMCIA card on a Linux box.

Is it possible to add new MAC frames to HostAP driver code when it behaving as a mobile station?
