Cisco Aironet 350

I've been playing with the linux driver for Aironet 350 and the hostap demon and I was fairly confident that the Cisco card can act as an AP with a few more tweaks to the driver. It will run in AP mode and I have been able to reliably associate Cisco cards with it - an Agere card has also associated on occasions but unpredictably. So far I have not added code to allow communication between STAs.

Browsing this list has suggested that it is not possible to use the Cisco card in this way. Evidently the Prism2 driver will not work 'out of the box' but the presence of the AP mode and the success I have had so far suggests that it should work.

Before I spend time on the communication between STAs is there anything anyone on the list knows that I should know ?
