Yes, I had proved a SMC 2632W with
kernel: wlan0: NIC: id=0x8003 v1.0.0 kernel: wlan0: PRI: id=0x15 v0.3.0 kernel: wlan0: STA: id=0x1f v0.8.3
firmware that works nice in all modes. And the two zoomair 4105 I have with
kernel: wlan0: NIC: id=0x8003 v1.0.0 kernel: wlan0: PRI: id=0x15 v0.3.0 kernel: wlan0: STA: id=0x1f v1.4.2
firmware do NOT work (as far I know) in Host AP mode.

The only firmware version I had been able to download is the update 8c3 that SMC offer in his web http://www.smc-europe.com/english/support/driver_manual/wirel/download/2632/WinUpdate_OEM_1.1.zip for windows, of course. But I haven't proved it yet because I don't like the idea of downgrad (specially if I'll can't upgrade later). Anybody recommended me to downgrad?
