Loading WEP Modules...Unresolved Symbols

I'm getting unresolved symbols in hostap.o, hostap_crypt.o and hostap_crypt_wep.o, I assume I have to manually compile the WEP components seperatelly or something along these lines. Read through the last section of README.prism2 and that's what it sounds like to me.

I'm using Redhat 7.3, I've compiled a new kernel, modversions is enabled and I've recompiled pcmcia-cs after this. All seems to go to plan, didn't notice any errors during compilation.

Still getting a grasp of linux so I run out of ideas to try pretty fast.
