So PTP is on a Wiki and if anyone wants to correct or embellish this content please feel free to, the little quote bubble thing. I'm sure I've got some stuff wrong.

Subject: No Network after Bridging

Hi,

I've got a x86 SBC with wired and wireless network on. I was able to install the host AP driver and ping both LAN and Internet. But once I added the bridge for wired (eth0) and wireless (wlan0) network, i can still ping LAN but not the Internet. Any hint?

Thanks

Cheers,

Robby Ku

hi,

I have successfully installed and configured Host AP driver. Later on, i tried to setup up the bridge interface (br0) for both wired (eth0) and wireless (wlan0) network. The weird thing was that after i setup the bridge, i cant browse the internet. And when i tried on ifconfig, the every Tx packets of wlan0 interface has error. Any hint? Thanks

Cheers,

Robby Ku

Not heavily tested here, but the machine has not hanged since I last updated the driver, and it used to when I was around with my laptop and did heavy work.

Also, I notice a much smaller number of errors in syslog, both of the server and the station. Examples of master errors:

Aug 3 02:40:08 webserver2 kernel: wlan0: dropped received packet from
non-associated STA 00:50:c2:01:00:02 (type=0x02, subtype=0x00)

Example of station errors:

Thanks for your effort, and keep with your great development.

Regards,
