I would say "yes", but I'm not very familiar with the low-level PCI code in Linux kernel so I cannot help much with this. I have some hosts that certainly require pci=biosirq to get a Prism2 PC Card in Ricoh PCMCIA-to-PCI adapter working. In addition, I have some hosts that do not find Prism2.5 PCI cards at all so there are certainly some compatibility problems with some motherboards and so far I haven't found suitable configuration/workarounds to solve all cases.
