Which version of the driver did you use? There seems to be some traffic patterns that cause at least some firmware versions to enter state in which it generates an INFDROP event for more or less every packet. This seems to be due to overrunning counters in CommTallies and the firmware does not send CommTallies info frame in this state for some reason.

I just added some code to try to recover from this state (CommTallies info is inquired from INFDROP event handler). This seemed to at least get the card out of that odd state. I'm also going to start using 32 bit CommTallies at some point to reduce the number of info frames during high traffic load.
