PCMCIA/PCI adapters: Ricoh or PLX ?

Is the PLX based adapter as stable as Ricoh ?

I know that there are many differences between them (PLX doesn't need pcmcia-cs etc).

I want to use them with senao cards and hostap (and with some firewire cardbus cards).
