Hi there,

I have a prism2 driver and kernel 2.4.17 running on an openAP box http://openap.ksmith.com, september 13th version.

I have the need to allow some devices only connected to the box's eth0 pass.

I issued the following commands:

iwpriv wlan0 maccmd 1
iwpriv wlan0 maccmd 4
iwpriv wlan0 addmac 01:02:03:04:05:06

Altough when I issue the iwpriv commands, the file /proc/net/prism2/wlan0/ap_control changes from this: MAC policy: open
MAC entries: 0
MAC list:

to this:
MAC policy: allow
MAC entries: 1
MAC list:
01:02:03:04:05:06

I can still ping the host I have connected to eth0

I dont know if it matters or not, but I am issuing these commands after the system has boot up.

Am I doing the right thing? Is there anything I should look at?

Thank you,
