Using PRISM2 chipset to send packets without acknowledgements

Hi folks, I looking for some specialist help here!

I have an application that needs to do two rather unusual things: Firstly, I need to be able to send an 802.11 data frame without triggering an acknowledge from the station firmware. Secondly I need to be able to send broadcast or multicast frames without having to wait for a beacon to be transmitted by the AP. This seems to be the default for a prism 2 card running in host AP mode.

I'm using a mix of Prism 2 cards for this project Does anyone have any ideas on how I can achieve this? Would the prism 2 tertiary firmware help?
