You were right - after upgrading fimrware to versions: PRI 1.1.0 and STA
1.4.9, kernel 2.4.19 and hostap-2002-09-20 everything works perfectly!
Average packet loss is between 0% and 1%, transfer is aroung 570KB/s, no
hangups, all possible modes are woring (I use Master and Ad-Hoc modes).
It makes HUGE difference comparing to previous setup (PRI 0.5.0, STA
1.3.4, packetloss 10% average, transfer maximum 380 KB/s, hangups every
6 to 8 hours... nightmare...).
I've upgraded WML11 cards using Windows98, on Pentium 233MHz, with 144MB
RAM machine. First I've upgraded it to PRI 1.1.0, STA 1.4.2 using
official LinkSys upgrade, then I've used "hacked" upgrade from
http://www.eng.tau.ac.il/~yash/IEEE802.11/ which gave me STA 1.4.9.
