Dear all..

I'm just compiled the prism2 driver with my pcmcia-cs-3.1.33. and I try to run the driver on kernel 2.4.18. then console print prism2: card initialization timed out error after the get_device_info called message system is blocked..

As, I know, prism firmware should download into pcmcia card. is it right ?

my question is
1) what is basic configuration for prism2 driver on the kernel ?

    for example, /etc/pcmcia/config and /etc/pcmcia/config.opts 2) when should I download prism firmware with what utilitiy ?
