Forgot to mention about one possible use case.. It might well be possible to use two Prism2 cards to create an AP that would have one card in Host AP mode and stations associate would to it. The other card would use adhoc mode (and another channel to improve performance) for WDS links to other APs. This kind of setup might be doable with current station firmware - even using standard-compiliant frames that would interoperate with other AP devices.
