Has anyone had any success with this card? I installed mine last night,
but I've had trouble getting it working. The hostap_pci module seemed
to load fine, but I can't get my other wireless nodes to find the access
point. Or rather, they seem to find it, but cannot connect to it. For
example, if I do an "iwconfig wlan0 channel 3" on my server, I notice
that iwconfig on my Linux laptop reports a changed frequency. But it
lists 44:44:44:44:44:44 as an access point, and reports a 0/92 link
quality. Similarly, my Apple iBook lists my essid as one of the
networks it could join, but whenever I try to join, I get an error.
I was able to get the laptops to work with another access point before, so I don't think the problem is on that end. I checked on the server for IRQ conflicts, but the Linksys card has IRQ 5 all to itself. Has anyone seen anything similar, or does anyone have any advice about things I should try? Thanks,
