Even though current Host AP driver does not support flash upgrade, utils/prism2_srec (in Host AP CVS snapshot) can already be used to check whether a station firmware image is compatible with a Prism2 card..

Host AP driver works fine with station firmware 1.3.5, at least on PCI Prism2.5 card. I have also successfully tested 1.3.4 in a HFA3841-based PC Card.
I have never seen a (otherwise working) Prism2 card that would not work with Host AP driver.. So, if anyone has such a card, I would like to take a closer look at it. 'dmesg' output of such card initialization and /proc/net/prism2/wlan0/rids (if the card can be initialized) would be useful. If more thorough debugging is needed, remote access to a host with such a card or a donated/loaned card might be useful.
