Master mode shows 2Mbit always, even though it is 11Mbit. This is not a bug, but apperently the behavour has changed in the latest CVS according to past messages.

I don't know if this is can help you, but, with a LG PCI Card I have the exactly same problem in IBSS mode, in AP (Master/Managed) mode all works fine.
