I can also confirm that on my Linksys WMP11 with firmware 1.4.2, Host AP does not work. The card does not seem to work at all. I even tried linux-wlan-ng-0.1.13 downloaded from the Linksys web site and that did not work for me. One thing that did work was te Link quality and othe level monitors (using wavemon).
