Just check if your NICID is in the list of supported Hardware...
When you load hostap it displays the NICID eg. 0x8013
Also..the RAM firmware update won't damage your card, if it doesn't work,
and reboot is all that's needed :)
The prism2_srec utility checks for compatibility before even attempting to
upload the firmware, so it won't upload incorrect firmware.
