I've got a DWL-520 too, and it works quite good. My motherboard has PCI
BIOS rev 2.10.
The only problem is how to set the range so I can trust it to 100% that it is max power (mW).
I've soldered on a new connector and got a good antenna.. But don't works so good with DWL-520. Only about 400-500m. But when I put Orionoco there in Ad-Hoc it goes a couple of kilometers.
