hello all,

I'm trying to setup a Linux AP and I'm using Redhat 7.3
Linux Kernel 2.4.19
Linksys WMP11 v2.5
Prism2/2.5 HostAP_PCI Driver

I have setup everything the way I think it should be but I can't seems to get two machines to see eachother..

This is the AP's iwconfig....

wlan0 IEEE 802.11-DS ESSID:"test"
          Mode:Master Frequency:2.427GHz Access Point: 00:06:25:09:02:40
          Bit Rate:2Mb/s Tx-Power:-13 dBm Sensitivity=1/3
          Retry min limit:8 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
          Encryption key:off
          Power Management:off
          Link Quality:0 Signal level:0 Noise level:0
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
          Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

here is the ipconfig

wlan0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:06:25:09:02:40
          inet addr:10.0.0.1 Bcast:10.0.0.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:4 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:100
          RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:288 (288.0 b)
          Interrupt:11 Memory:c383b000-c383c000

My other box is a laptop that I know works and I have it set to dhcp

Dhcpd is running on the AP

Aug 11 20:49:29 tester dhcpd: Listening on LPF/wlan0/00:06:25:07:01:60/10.0.0.0/24

I'm not sure what I'm missing...
