I decided to upgrade my ZoomAir 4105 card from STA 0.8.3 to 1.4.9 and in the process hostap has stopped working ...

[the flash worked fine before you ask, putting the card in a Windows laptop works etc.]

Putting a ZoomAir 4100 in which I haven't flashed yet, so it's still on 0.8.3, brings it back to life - Prism2-2002-05-19 is fine, though the CVS snapshot kernel panics at some point.

Before I flash the 4105 back to 0.8.3 and leave it for another day, can anyone suggest what is wrong ?
