I'm unaware of any issue behind transmitting broadcast/multicast frames regarding WEP. Could u pls let me know why broadcast/multicast frames may need to be send un-encrypted. According to the IEEE 802.11b (Page 67)any encrypted data packet will be decrypted based on the keyId of the IV field. So if both Station and AP have same four keys then I guess there wont be any issue. If there is any issue pls let me know.
