That looks quite odd.. Do you know is this information incorrect on the card or is the pcmcia-cs reading this on iPAQ failing? What does 'cardctl ident' show?

That version is quite old.. Could you test the latest CVS snapshot from http://hostap.epitest.fi/? I have seen CVS version (a month ago or so) initialized correctly on a platform using ARM.

It would also be useful to get the kernel oops with symbols resolved by ksymoops. I'm not that fluent in ARM oops messages that I would be able to find the problem with this..

Although, the log message seems to indicate that hostap_cs.o initialization failed since there was no matching CFTABLE entry in the CIS.. I think there was a bug causing kernel crashes if initialization failed, but this has been fixed a long time ago and I would suggest testing the latest CVS snapshot.
