I've tested with Intel, HostAP, and Linksys access points. The Cisco client card can connect to the VPN through all of them, but the HostAP client-mode card doesn't work with any of them. A Lucent card that I tried with the HostAP access point also connected fine, but I didn't test it with any other APs.

I can connect to the local network OK using the HostAP client card. I've been using the Prism2-2002-05-19 driver since it was released without any problems.

The fact that the Cisco card connects fine under the same conditions suggests that there's something going on in the HostAP driver.

I'll try rolling back to an earlier HostAP release and see if it helps.

Thanks,
Cyrus
